Safe In Harm’s Way is highlighting our good friend Kate Ranta and her mission to educate people on how violence can happen at home. Kate addresses how when apologies don’t lead to change, situations can become worse.
This is scary stuff, we know. Please realize that your brain, body, heart, and mind are worthy of love which doesn’t come with sadness, worry, lies, screaming, fear, and pain. Start be believing the first time you are hurt by someone who claims to love you. And keep asking for help until you find it. Sometimes it takes awhile, but you’re worth the effort.
There are many resources to read about on our website, plus you can contact local advocates as well, by plugging your zip code into the location search at DomesticShelters.org.
